CRITICAL RIDING RULES:


Everyone’s shaky at first, so don’t get discouraged

Square up the roller with the rail stops

Hold onto a stool or sofa back

Level the board with one foot, hop up with the other foot

Offset feet – slightly hang over a toe, hang over a heel


Keep feet about shoulder width distance or less

Keep knees bent!!

Keep upper body relaxed and straight, no flailing

Look down the “wave” (in line with roller), not toward the stool

Control the rolling motion from your ankles, not by shifting your weight
